  1. Posi-Lock 4in. 5 ton Gear and Bearing Puller, Sears, $99 … (I used to have this Sears gear puller, but it bends every time you try to put any large amount of force on a gear. I upgraded to the one above and will never use anything else. The Posi-Lock is wonderful and I used it about 15 times rebuilding the Pantah engine. Well worth the money.)
  2. Propane blow torch for heating the engine cases to remove the press fit bearings.
  3. Blind hole bearing slide hammer. This one is metric, and decent quality for the money. The Snap-On version is $420 so the $80 I spent on eBay was well worth it. It would be nice to have a threaded yoke though. I would rather have the control of a thread instead of pounding them out. But the price was right and it worked.
