Ducati Alazzurra 650 clutch

Ducati Alazzurra 650 dry clutch

The dry clutch on the Alazzurra 650 shares the same bolt pattern with the modern a Ducati. There are several differences that may prevent using modern lightweight parts in place of the older heavy ones. The old clutch basket appears to be made of steel, though it has a very “anodized” look to it. It is definitely heavier than the clutch basket off of my 2004 Multistrada.

The original dry clutch basket has an extra depression at the bottom which allows the hub to sink slightly deeper than on the modern basket. The tang pattern is the same.

More info to come as I get around to rebuilding this part.
